Lecture by Vint Cerf - May 16 2012
On May 16, 2012 Vint Cerf, one of the "Fathers of the Internet" and Chief Internet Evangelist at Google, visited KU Leuven at the invitation of LICT and ICRI.
For an audience of more than 300 people, Mr Cerf presented for about an hour his vision on the Internet. His inspiring lecture focused a.o. on the historical and future evolution and growth of the Internet and the opportunities and challenges brought by this for society (e.g. with respect to privacy).. He concluded his talk with a comment on the Interplanetary Internet. (read more)
