Leonardo Meeus is a Research Fellow of the Florence School of Regulation at the European University Institute, and Visiting Professor at the KU Leuven. Leonardo coordinates the think tank (THINK) that advises the European Commission (DG Energy) on energy policy.
His employment experience includes coordinating the Florence School of Regulation, coordinating the European Energy Institute, and heading European and regulatory affairs for a merchant electricity interconnector developer in Ireland. Dr. Meeus holds a master in commercial engineering and doctorate in electrical engineering from the KU Leuven.
