Athanasios Ramkaj received the degree in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Delft, The Netherlands, in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

He is currently working as a research assistant at the MICAS laboratories of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Leuven, Belgium towards the PhD degree. From 2013 to 2014, he was an intern at NXP Semiconductors, Eindhoven, where he conducted his M.Sc. thesis in the High Speed Data Acquisition group on GHz range Analog-to-Digital converters for communication systems.

His current research interests include high-speed/high-resolution Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog conversion systems for communication applications.
