About the Antenna Group

The antenna group is involved in the development and application of fundamental and computational electromagnetics. The application mainly concerns the design, fabrication, and measurement of existing and innovating antenna types. Part of the group is working on the fundamental modeling, organized around the so-called MAGMAS framework. This framework is the main tool used by a second part of the group, involved in the actual design of new antenna architectures. At this moment the main topics there are antennas at millimeter wave frequencies, electronic beam steering, and small integrated antennas. The knowledge acquired concerning modeling is also applied to antenna feeding networks and EMC problems.
